Real support for the real moments of practice.

1:1 Mentorship is a private, ongoing relationship designed for orthodontists who want more than answers to individual cases. This is where you come to think clearly, speak honestly, and grow with guidance from someone who understands both the clinical and emotional realities of practice.

Many of the doctors I mentor have come to think of me as their “Orthodontic Mom.”

Not because I make things easier — but because I help you navigate them with clarity, honesty, and confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How is 1:1 Mentorship different from a Case Consult?

Case Consults focus on a specific case and clinical strategy.

1:1 Mentorship is about you — how you think, communicate, lead, and show up as a clinician. We may talk through cases, but the focus is on building your confidence, strengthening your decision-making, and supporting you through the real challenges of practice.

2. What kinds of things can I bring to a mentorship session?

Anything that’s on your mind.

This often includes:

  • Difficult conversations with patients or parents
  • Situations where you feel challenged or second-guessed
  • Leadership or team dynamics
  • Moments where your confidence feels shaken
  • How to present or pivot treatment plans clearly
  • If it’s something you’re replaying in your head, it belongs here.

3. I feel like I “should already know this.” Is this still for me?

Yes — especially then.

Most of the doctors I work with are highly capable and well-trained, but still find themselves second-guessing or feeling unsure in certain moments. This is a judgment-free space where you can ask questions openly and work through things honestly.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to be here.

4. Do we review cases during mentorship sessions?

Sometimes, yes — but not in the same way as a formal case consult.

In mentorship, cases are often used as a way to explore:

  • How you’re thinking through decisions
  • How you’re communicating your plan
  • Where doubt or hesitation is showing up

The goal isn’t just to fix a case — it’s to strengthen how you approach all cases moving forward.

5. How often should I book mentorship sessions?

That depends on what kind of support you need.

  • Some doctors book sessions as needed for specific situations
  • Others choose 3- or 6-month mentorship for consistent support

If you’re navigating ongoing challenges or want deeper growth, a regular rhythm tends to be the most impactful.

6. What makes your mentorship different from other coaching?

This mentorship is grounded in real clinical experience, not theory.

You’re getting guidance from a board-certified orthodontist, practice owner, and educator — someone who has navigated the exact situations you’re facing.

Many doctors describe it as having an “orthodontic mom” in their corner — someone who gives honest feedback, helps you think clearly, and supports you without judgment.

7. Is this only for orthodontists?

The mentorship is primarily designed for orthodontists, but I also work with general dentists and specialists who are navigating similar challenges around confidence, communication, and leadership.

8. What if I’m not sure if mentorship is the right fit?

That’s completely okay.

If you’re unsure, the best place to start is simply booking a session and having a conversation. From there, we can determine what type of support would be most helpful for you.
